Made with canned foods.Makes 2 servings
8 oz Refried beans-
8 oz 90% ground beef-salt and pepper
2 oz portabella mushroom slices-chopped
2 oz Jack cheese shredded
12 black olives,halved
2 TBS salsa
2 TBS low fat sour cream
shredded iceberg lettuce
Couple jalapeno slices
Cook beef in cast iron pan,make chunky,when almost done add portabellas.
Make 2 plates,add a base of shredded lettuce,add heated cooked refried beans and meat.Divide rest of ingredients and add to each plate.
Makes a darn filling main course for about 500 calories.Apologize for bad picture,lightbulbs in kitchen add funky colors so doesnt look all that great.But you get meat,beans,veggies and dairy.
However,it comes out excellent,this is a keeper.

Yup PZ,we have a lot of low cal changes going on too.
Add those jalepenos,they are next to nothing on calories.

oh ya, i'm liking this. it looks so good. ty for sharing w/ us. i'm having this twice a week. my wife just but both of us on a diet. :( she says we both have to lose 25 pounds. no more of my hottess little white donuts at night time w/ milk (i only eat 6 to 10. i shake most of the powder off thou). no more glazed oatmeal cookies. no more jelly bellies. :'( i love jelly bellies. i got 2 racks of ribs to cook today and that's it for awhile. no more pork butts or chuckies. she only wants to eat chicken and fish. :'( :'( :'(. i do like chicken and fish. so it won't be that bad. can you cook a piece of fish for four hours like ribs? i'm thinking a little FL? might be good. ;)

Im not so sure about pickles.
This comes out more like a combo meat/bean burrito without a tortilla(crazy calories on those) than a salad...with less calories on the toppings,ie,not loaded with cheese or regular fat sour cream calories,and danged if they arent a LOT of calories.
So Im not sure pickles would go on a burrito? Maybe on the side,oh yeah,that works for me.Ive been eating a pickle spear here and there,like you say,almost no calories at all. ;) :D

That's it...I am calling the guys that bring out the white coat that buttons up the back and fasten your arms by your side.... :D
