I agree on marking the catch can. Haven't gotten around to it yet, but I will soon. In my personal opinion, the ash catch can is worth the $50 premium over the OTS (mine is just the OTG, not Performer).

The porcelain coating is very rust resistant
Most people just dump the ash catcher every few cooks

I just open my bottom vents all the way and take an old stiff paint brush and brush all the ash into the catcher.
