Never seen beef ribs cut that way.  The look great, though.

The spare look pretty d@mn good, too ! ! !

Sam's has them all of the time around here and are called short ribs. I usually avoid them because of my experience with beef ribs but these were very meaty. And the SL ribs were some of my best.

Well, I'll look for them the next time I'm at Sam's.  I haven't had much luck with beef ribs either.
