Smoked Chicken, Ham & Sausage Jambalaya

Think of jambalaya as a thick rice stew with veggies & meat in a chicken broth.
Works great in a crockpot as no roux is made.
Trinity, garlic & some okra, with smoked chicken & ham.
Couple bay leaf, pepper.
A can of diced tomatoes.
water
Bout 90 minutes before serving add sliced sausage & 1&1/2 cop rice
Season after cooking , many of the ingredients are salty so I vary seasoning between Tony's cajun seasoning & caynne pepper depending on wheather salt , heat or both needed.

John- you know how to hurt a fella! I saw this, and it brought back some good memories.  Now...if ic an scrounge up a good baguette and some butter to go with that.... ;D

I am a big fan of Jambalya and that looks great!

Everytime I go to Rainforest Cafe I get their Jambalaya  it is so good!
