LT = yummy steak & tators
« Reply #-1 on: December 18, 2014, 10:05:18 PM »
so, Monday and Tuesday are my days off.  so it was Monday morning and I was outside w/ my latte talking to LT.

he mentioned that he wants a cover.  he said all the other grills have covers.  damn, he was right.  fine buddy.  I will get you a nice cover my next day off.  I was asking him what he wanted to cook today.  not being a wimp he said, "dude, lets break out some steak and tators".  SHAZAM.....  I'm all for it.  off to winco I go.

sometime in the afternoon I start up the coals.

and it's raining again.

wrapped up some tators w/ oil and kosher salt on them.  LT says it's about time we start cooking.  damn grills are so demanding.

threw down some wood because LT wanted to smoke.  I told him that the tators were wrapped and the smoke wouldn't do anything for them.  he didn't care.

smokey, smokey.  nice smoke.....

tators getting some nice color to them.

wife's got Costco steak seasoning and mine had WOW and M3.  let's get busy.

hot enough I guess.

everyone in the pool...

that's the way to do it.

I hope the big one is mine.   ::)

oh ya.  this is going to be good.

wife loved dinner.  she likes LT.  after dinner I went outside w/ my brandy.  and put it on top of LT to stay warm.  I was telling him that he makes a mean steak.  he agreed.  I am lovin this grill.  I have only cooked on round things.  this rectangle grill is the best.

.

live long and prosper.   8)
