Three Meals One Cook
« Reply #-1 on: May 11, 2015, 12:30:08 PM »
Saturday was the day we celebrated Mother's Day as our nurse daughter had to work on Sunday. On Sunday Mrs Hikerman wanted to use her mother's meatloaf recipe as that's what she's been wanting. So I thought let's do it all on Saturday, and we'll have a meatloaf for the freezer. PK was set up for a direct-indirect cook, and Grill Grates added to heat up for the four rib-eyes. The 2 meatloaves were on the indirect side using the Little more set-up. Everyone loved the steaks on Saturday,  and on Sunday the two of us had a real nice meatloaf meal complete with garlic mashed and roasted tri-colored carrots. Oh Saturday's sides were broccoli rabe with sausage and corkscrew pasta, and a nice garden salad.
Hope everyone had a great weekend and the mothers had a great Mother's Day!
