Two 7 pound chickens on the PK

I had just ordered a little more grate so I will have more room, this was a tight fit. The birds are stuffed with apples and apple wood was added to the coals

I am amazed you got those two bigguns to set side by side. Very impressed. The only problem with the little more grate (I have the 1/2 and the full length) is that it restricts you on larger cuts of meats. They are really good for ribs and chicken pcs or split chickens...............

I agree Smoke. You won't be able to put a whole bird up top. But it does add a lot of cooking space.
