Last night I wanted to make up some silver salmon a friend gave us recently, and realized that I was out of dill!!! Savory Spices to the rescue! Since the Way Out West has a good bit of dill and sage, I used that to make a fabulous cream sauce for the fish and rice.
While the WOW-dusted salmon was on the MAK soaking up a bit of smoke, I made a roux, then added some cream to make a white sauce. I dumped in a good bit of the WOW, and it turned out just perfect-- easiest sauce ever!! Just roux, cream, and WOW. I had to stop myself from eating it by the spoonful.
Served it with some crispy broccoli, and we had a winner of a dinner!
