Brisket on the Weber Kettle
« Reply #-1 on: September 11, 2015, 12:02:25 PM »
Here is a 17 pounder I cooked using my weber, it took 14 hours to cook at 225. The charcoal basket is a Slow N Sear that I have been playing with for a couple months. http://www.abcbarbecue.com/#!products/cab8

At 8 hours in I added a chimney full of charcoal, it still had some left at the end. The water I topped off after 5 hours

Here is how much fuel is left after 11 hours. I am going to reload it and smoke some chicken thighs.  The brisket is a little dry but the taste is amazing.  Next time I may foil.
