It's been awhile...
« Reply #-1 on: September 20, 2015, 08:00:40 PM »
Hi y'all. Been too busy to post anything lately. Got a big promotion at work so long hours and traveling, as well as the kids and some projects at home keeping me beyond busy.
Finally had a quiet day to cook. Got myself a marinated pork roast

Parboiled some potatoes
Shocked in ice water after 15 mins

Mixed in a bowl with Ranch dressing

Into a we'll greased baking dish topped with smoked paprika and parsley

Onto the Mak at 400 for just over an hour, pulled and rested the pork roast

Sliced up

Served with cayenne curry fried green beans and a chipotle dressed salad

Oh.. And here is the home project I mentioned....

Glad to be back cooking!!!

Congratulations and welcome back.  We did miss you.

It seems that the subject of poutine comes up quite often on a lot of the cooking shows.  Everytime I see that, I think of you.  Glad you are back.
