Yep. That is why during a large propane leak you will see people sweeping the ground to sweep the gas out of the area.

One reason Kimmie let me get the REC-TEC.. 

She lit a grill I had years back and it "POPPED" the lid open , she swore never again to lite a grill.     But a pellet pooper gril just has an "ON" switch so she feels better about it

Tommy just so you know I had my Traeger flame out one time and when I got it going it had a mini explosion that lifted the lid! Seems the fire pot was overloaded with pellets and they all instantly combusted at once. I was shocked.

Yep, that's why my wife does not like lighting a propane grill, and why she was only too happy to get a MAK.
