Good video Tom. You have a lot more patience than I would have had.  I just replaced the hot rod in my Grid Iron a month or so ago after 2 1/2 years of use. Did Rec Tec send you a new hot rod under warranty? or did you have to pay for the new one? You would think being it is only 6 months old that it would still be under some type of warranty.

Nope, they sent me nothing since the grills been modified it voided the warranty

That stinks about them not sending a part to you.  The mods you did to that grill would have no effect on the hot rod.  As much "free" advertising you do for them on YouTube you would think they would back the hot rod
