Introducing myself...
« Reply #-1 on: July 13, 2016, 04:17:34 PM »
Hello all!

I have been BBQing for love for about 5 years now. Read lots of books and ate a lot of good food and drank a few beers. It's been a great time. I am 34 and have a Nice Webber kettle Grill, a cheap offset smoker and a new Pit Barrel Cooker. I like to cook with a combination of Wood and Charcoal, my favorite wood is either Cherry (we have a lot of cherry here in Wisconsin) and Apple. My favorite things to cook are Pork Shoulder, Ribs, Chicken, and of course a nice grilled Steak.

I joined because I am trying to understand and use my Pit Barrel Cooker to it's fullest potential. I have had a few hits and a few misses with it and am looking forward to reading about some of your success stories.

While I am not one of them, there are a boatload of PBCers here, so feel free to ask away.

Welcome from South Dakota. A PBC isn't in my arsenal (yet) but there is a wealth of information here on using them. Any question you may have, someone here has most likely been there, done that! The ONLY bad thing about hanging around here is you may find yourself getting "needy". As in I need one of those and one of that.......
