First Grill on the Hasty-Bake
« Reply #-1 on: October 01, 2016, 09:18:40 AM »
This is a big grill. Didn't want to use 10 lbs charcoal to grill one steak  :o
Used a charcoal basket with a couple firebricks to make a small concentrated fire ( 2 lbs charcoal, 1 wood chunk)
The charcoal rack adjusts from 2 ft below rack to just a couple inches.
Had a bargain bin 2 in thick strip steak.
Smoked for 20 minutes then seared .
Really good!
