Blind Taste Test at Backyard Jack's
« Reply #-1 on: May 01, 2017, 08:40:08 PM »
We had a little cookout at Backyard Jack's a couple of weekends ago.

As I was traveling to Jaxon's backyard, I had the opportunity to stop at the world famous bbq joint called The Shed just outside Biloxi, MS in a town called Ocean Springs. I got a rack of spare ribs "to go" so we could put them up in a blind taste test against Backyard Jack's great spare ribs. Dee Stafford was the blindfolded subject and Jaxon was the interlocutor. The judges decision looks to be unanimous. Watch and enjoy.

Our sincere apologies to Brad and Brooke Orrison at The Shed. All their bbq, including their ribs, are excellent and I recommend them enthusiastically....but Backyard Jack's are just the greatest....jus' sayin'.

Only Jaxon would announce which rib was which during a "blind" tasting.

Only dee would wear a blindfold around anyone from this forum.

And only Bremer would post the results.

Probably should call it a "blindfolded" taste test...

Results would have been the same - I was still out $20

But, in all honesty, he did not say it would be a DEAF taste test, now did he ! ! !
