Slow-smoked, then deep-fried RIBS
« Reply #-1 on: January 01, 2018, 02:20:42 PM »
Now, Y'all, this is a cook I saw on the Travel Channel.  I thought it looked like a good idea at the time and I had these ribs on hand.
The video is about 4 minutes long...just havin' some fun on New Year's Day.

I'm still kinda foggy and if I tried to deep fry anything on New Years Day I'd probably burn the house down. In the meantime, you're out there raising the bar again.

Jack,
Your ribs turned out great.  My mouth was watering from the get-go.  I'll have to give them a try.

And here I thought that I was the only one that deep fried smoked ribs.
I normally do that with leftover ribs, to reheat them.

Jaxon seems to be taking a chapter out of his gastronomic chemistry book and reapplying it to Backyard Jack's BBQ making it even better. Those ribs were tasty when smoked, but now they are out of this world good.  Mmmm Mmmm Good!!!
