I love a good chili dog, but I also like to enjoy the cooking process!  Why not drag it out a lil bit with reverse seared hot dogs. Weird, I know... BUT, it gave me a few more mins to play with fire :)

It’s important you rest your weenie after a good sear ;)

It was quite yummy :)

I like it! Wow you have room on that kettle for a lot more food! Time to invest in the 26.75!

Yes, it’s “the chip!”  Probably my all-time favorite as well. After devouring the food in the pic, my next plate consisted of a bed of corn chips topped with chili/cheese/onions, then topped with a sliced up hot dog. It was really good! :)

  Reverse seared dogs! Great idea. Everyone can get them exactly like they prefer.   Should work great for sausage as well.
And the 26" kettle is on my bucket list....   one day....
