C.S.C

You've heard of C.S.N?. Crosby, Stills and Nash.  Great group.  Well, this is like that.  C.S.C.  Cobb, Salmon and Charcoal.

I love my Cobb.  It's a lot fun to use.  I take it everywhere with me.  Tailgating, fishing, picnicking or just in the backyard throwing back a few double crowns.  Another great thing about the Cobb is when it's winding and cold it protects your coals.  A lot of other bbq's cold and wind affects temps.  Not my Cobb.  Burr.... It's cold and windy out.

One weber starter cube broke up.

Let's fire it up.

Charcoal on top.  Only fifteen coals.  See how the coals sit down in a little bowl.  No wind.

I'm having salmon.  So I need some fresh dill.  Must be some out here somewhere?

Found it.

Coals are ready.  I separate the coals to get a nice even temp thru out the Cobb.

Let's warm it up.

Salmon, dill, lemon, salt & pepper and a touch of butter.  Simple is best sometimes.

Doesn't that look nice?

Fifteen minutes later.  Not yet.

Fifteen minutes after that, perfection.

My wife wanted green stalks and said I had to eat a apple too.  When the hell do I get to be the boss?

This was beyond fantastic.  Great simple flavors and super healthy.  It was really good.

I wonder what's for dessert?
