Brats for Breakfast
« Reply #-1 on: April 29, 2018, 12:38:27 PM »
Now, let me clear something up. I love brats. Here in Texas the sausage aisle is impressive but not too many brats. I can get Johnsonville, so I am cool.

My little brother loves brats as well. Maybe more than me. He did move to Wisconsin last year. I am waiting on a care package any day now ;)

Wendy did not like brats when I met her. The Smoke fixed that in a hurry.

Well, kind of..................  she likes brats for breakfast.

Better than nothing........lets have brats for breakfast this fine Sunday morning.

I love my new MAK 2 Star but charcoal is part of my dna and I do a fair share of charcoal cooking while the MAK is cooling off.

Used the leftover HEB Grand Champion briquettes from last nights cook in the PK

i always cook them this way.........hate to see em split and lose all those tasty juices

Meanwhile in the kitchen, Wendy sliced up some yellow taters and added chopped green peppers (she didn't like those either) and yellow onion and into the air fryer for a great tasty side with only a pc of foil to toss in the trash

Meanwhile, back on the patio, the brats are done

Lets put all this goodness together and grub out  (dijon on one and yellow mustard on the other.....kinda like the dijon better)

Let me tell ya, these brats were tasty, this HEB Grand Champion lump briquettes got a great flavor. If you live in Texas or are in a neighboring state shoot over to the Lone Star State and hit a local HEB and stock up my friends.
