Building on a good idea
« Reply #-1 on: July 27, 2018, 08:54:04 AM »
Now that I tried pickle juice brined chicken which I found to be great and is now on my list of meals from now on.

So I figured I would try Jalapeno juice brine  ;)    We had the kids over last night for taco salads and now I have a jar of juice leftover so why not  :D :D :D :D

I'll brine tonight and cook Saturday with the results..  I will cook the same way as the pickle brine ones  air fryer and low carb almond/Parmesan mix

Pictures later when I cut the yardbird up and in the brine

The only caution I would think of....is that ground will absorb the brine much faster than a whole muscle cut of meat or poultry.
And, while you are at it.......why not fine mince some jalapeno peppers and mix them into the meat? They will not be very hot after cooking down with the ground meat.

Ill look at ground meat but after I do the chuncks to see how it turns out.  I normaly pound chicken to make it even then cut into chunks but I did not with the pickle jucie bites.

These I will just cut chunks up and soak in the brine for 12 hrs and another set for 24 hrs to see which is better.   The pickle juice chunks went 24 hrs so a 12 hr and a 24 hr soak should have different taste I would think.

now if this works well I will grind breast up make patties out of them with bits of pepper in the mix and then air fry to see how that works

Would I do these again?   May,  just depends

They look good, but I am with you, chicken and jalapenos aren't the best in the world.
