the color is great.  do you every find that the salt lick clone is a tad to salty?

Since we just use it on the outside of these big hunks of meat, I don't find the end product too salty after it is all pulled/chopped and mixed together.    But still, there is a lot of salt in that rub...

Grab some festive paper to wrap the lightly dressed sandwich in.




And we couldn't wait for the 'plated' pic, as we hadn't eaten all day.

Those were the $1 generic buns from Target.  We'll source some manly sized ones.


Pappy, we were going to eat these on the tailgate of my truck, but the wind was blowing about 35MPH out there.   So we used Blue October as a 'high top'.
