You got to give Wing Commander credit for the mustard on first. I think on his he said you could not taste the mustard, a little like using it for glue. If you prefer mayo or ketchup I don't think you would taste the mustard. I added mustard to mine after done and didn't note any overpowering of mustard taste. My wife and grandson did not know I added mustard first and never said anything that it was different from my usual burgers. I think it just helps keep it moist. Per WC's suggestion the next time I will flip the burgers half way thru. Don

Thanks for the credit, but that belongs to In-N-Out Burger: that's their "animal style".

The taste of the mustard is very present and tatsy if your patties are not too thick. I tried this with several patty sizes. The thinner the better. Then you don't need any more mustard after done.

Oh, and I didn't use that mustard as glue. ;)

Yep Don, sometimes just a plain ol' cheeseburger is just plain ol' good.

And two of 'em (or five) is just plane ol' better!  ;D

Great looking burgers Don!  For me a mustard burger is the final step in the recovery from one too many cold ones (Yuengling, FT, Anchor Steam, St, Arnolds, etc.)
