Cuisineart pressure cooker - Costco
« Reply #-1 on: September 27, 2013, 02:06:01 AM »
The pressure cooker from Costco is $69.99 which is $30 cheaper than Amazon.  This is an electric unit that I have been using for the past two years of so to make delicious foods - in particular pork butt and black beans.  In a 75 minute cook time, you get fork tender pork and black beans that are creamy and smooth.  While you can achieve somewhat similar results with crock pot cooking, I've found that there is a difference in tenderness and other textures that pressure cooking affords that is quite delectable.

You can fill the pot in the morning before work, and it keeps the food warm until you return - doesn't get better than that.

If you are considering it, get it now because it just recently appeared in their lineup after nearly two years off the Costco listings.
