Since I am the cook and now doing all of my wife’s work after she had double knee replacement I look for more easy and quick meals to have. Tonight’s meal took less than two hours from prep to finish.
I was not going to post this meal but I knew there were many pea lovers here that would appreciate it! I knew they may be disappointed if I didn’t post a meal that was enhanced by serving some of the round little green morsels as a side!
I did some pork cutlets, from my butcher Kah Meats, on my Traeger on the flat side of grill grates at 325 deg. for about 25 minutes turning half way through. They were seasoned with some of Penzey’s pork chop seasoning. I thought they looked a little dry so I poured a little beer over and let them steam the last couple of minutes.
I made some wide noodles that I added some butter and grated parmesan cheese to and added some Penzey’s sandwich sprinkle at the table. Another side was some buttered green peas and some toasted garlic bread.
The cutlets were a little dry so I think the next time I will use the ribbed side of the grill grates and do them hotter and faster.
