Circled the wagons with some chicken thighs

Gotta get ready for the Broncos and Colts..so here we go:

Rubbed some chicken thighs down with Stubbs Chicken Rub

Had a little help: stogie...brewski-poo and a hunk of olive wood

Time to circle the wagons..kettle ran around 475 and the thighs were done in 45 minutes...great way to do chicken for a weeknight supper

Sauced em up

The Stubb chicken rub has mustard and honey in it and combined with the Best BBQ Sauce you will ever taste was a killer combo
and the Busch honey beans were nice and sweet

Chicken: it's whats for dinner.

Nice! My wife just bought some thighs and that is a nice way to cook them up.

Great looking prairie birds Smoke. My grandfather traveled from Missouri to Oregon in a covered wagon as a boy. I asked what they ate and they took salt, flour, yeast, dried beans, Lard and ate Prairie chickens when they could shoot them :) Don't think Webers had came along quite yet ;) I can't imagine that life on a wagon, I went nuts when my kitchen faucet broke and was with out for two days :)

They have two versions and they are worth every cent

Thanks for your help smoke. I just order the one without the cast iron insert. I have the grill grates now.  ;D

Good move. They have the hinged portions just like the original but use a heavier rod. Very nice grates.
