Ribeyes n Hasselbacks
« Reply #-1 on: November 03, 2013, 01:34:15 PM »
I ran out of time last weekend and had these ready Monday evening when I got off of work. I used the 22"OTS with the professional sear grate in and some KBB, about a half of a pot, looks nice on this crisp Monday evening.

The steaks were seasone with some Montreal steak seasoning and let set out until the reached room temperature, I also found a new toy, I told my wife that it's cheaper than a new Treager  :D

Well onto the sear grate, we love this, leaves great marks.

On the turn using the pig tail sweet!

Finito, and a little pad o budda on each and tented with foil to rest while the taters finished.

I didn't think I had enough time to do these on the grill so I broke out the salvaged cast iron pan and they went in with some onion powder garlic powder S&P and OO and cheddar cheese for the finally, but I used the oven.

These didn't finish in time to eat with the steaks, but still made it into the pie hole.
Here is the steak, plated. I'm not sure how one eats with this new fangled contraption, I almost put my eye out  ;)

These were some purdy tastin steaks, along with a seasonal SA, you just can't go wrong with a SA, I like em all

Thanks for lookin at my cookin, I hope you are all havin a fan tastic weekend!
We only cook and eat the piece of the hog that made a pig of itself.

Good lookin' cook, sir.

I think you're supposed to use that hook to feed others at your table.  You cut the steak into bite-size pieces and with that longer handle, you can feed each person a bite at the time.  Makes a little steak go a long way.

They quit askin' for a bite pretty soon.
