Dang Doc... you weren't supposed to catch that quick!
As soon as I handed Isreal and my Daughter the container to turn in and they left the trailer; I went to the cambro to pull out the pork but and prep it for turn in. Shut the cambro and BOOM it hit me, pulled the paper out of my pocket, looked and went "crap". Like I said, the head judge came to the trailer and I immediately laughed and said "what can I say?". He said they had discussed it and were going to go ahead and score my pulled pork (I abbreviating PP, I ain't forgot the last person who did that!) and brisket if I could get it to the judging area quickly. I appreciate their making an exception for my mistake. I wasn't going to win and would not have accepted the win if I had scored.
To all my other friends, thank you for the thoughts and prayers for Savannah; She is going through and endoscopy to hopefully remove the gall stone that is blocking her ducts. If they get it out, the "surgeon" will then remove the gallbladder. This is why this sight is so much more to me than a "BBQ forum" but family.
