MAK smoked Chicken Half in the California Rain
« Reply #-1 on: November 22, 2013, 07:44:44 PM »

Who says it never rains in California?  We'll take all the rain and snow in the Sierras we can get!  Fortunately I have a nice covered patio that has been taken over by my toys smokers.  Great day for a little comfort food ... chicken, mash potatoes, gravy, and green beans.

Rub under/on skin with EVOO and Lawry's Perfect Blend Chicken & Poultry Rub.  Smoke with Hickory for 1 hour, bump to 350ºF until IT reached 170ºF.  Rested under foil tent for 15 minutes.

One thing I miss from living in California is the ability to do outdoor activities 365.

That plate of food looks really delicious!
