Brisket Point..........on the Old Smokey
« Reply #-1 on: April 13, 2014, 06:14:50 PM »
Haven't posted cooks in a while. A couple of weeks ago, Wendy was cleaning the kitchen table where the lap top sets and sent it flying across the kitchen to its untimely demise. We found a all in one Gateway pc on sale at Wal-Mart and had to wait two weeks to get it. Then we immediately got a virus. Now we are finally back on track.

Had a briskie point that we injected with Stubbs Texas Butter and rubbed it down with Texas Bros Bbq rub. Got the Old Smokey set up for an indirect cook and used Stubbs Texas Roadhouse wood chips for smoke.

Was able to get the OS to run at 250 the entire 8 hour cook with only two refills of Kingsford. Came out real good. Pulling it was super easy.

Oh I don't know it still looks like you have that virus hanging around on that cook. Better just send it to me so I can dispose of it the right way  :P
