« Reply #-1 on: May 29, 2012, 05:00:41 PM »
a friend of mine (mr muebe) made some stuffed peppers w/ seafood.  i thought is was a great idea.  so i tried to make them.  well, his turned out way better than mine.

got me some little scallops and shrimp.

a little of this and that (improvising again)

seafood getting happy.

threw down some bacon on my mak griddle.

in go the goodies.

i burnt the peppers (no bueno).  so, on to plan B (more of that improvision stuff)

took everything off.  very tasty.

i let everything cool off in the frig.

plan B.  made a nice salad and put my seafood yummies on top.  it was fantastic.

if plan A doesn't work there is always plan B.  i will do better next time muebe.  promise.

Every "failure" is merely an opportunity for invention.

YOU get the  "unintentioned-invention" prize of the day! Looks really good Sparky - a great summer time salad.

Great save Spark! I second that "unintentioned-invention" prize! :)

I do love me some shrimp & scallops.

I love poblanos roasted like that.  They're perfect for rellenos or just peeled chopped and thrown in a dish.
