SRG maiden voyage
« Reply #-1 on: May 25, 2014, 10:07:32 PM »
Decided to toss in a pork loin for the first round. Used a improvised mix of black pepper, salt, cumin, thyme, garlic powder, onion powder, sweet paprika, hot paprika and green chile powder for rub. The meat was cooked to 145, rested and sliced. The rub was killer and the meat came out tender and juicy!

More to come!

You can NEVER go wrong with green chile powder in anything!   Now try the chipotle powder, if you can find it.   Use it in almost all of my rubs.

The green chile powder really was a zing.  Gotta get more since the last was used up with the mix.  Planning on catfish 2.0 once I get some more half racks.
