MAK Drumsticks and Brats
« Reply #-1 on: May 29, 2014, 10:15:14 PM »

Granddaughters came to visit so Papa made their favorite ... Drumsticks!!  :D  :D  And a few Johnsonville Brats for ME  ::)  8)  :D

Marinaded some Foster Farms Drumsticks with Mr Yoshida's and Montreal Chicken seasoning for 4 hours

Hickory smoked in the MAK 2 Star for 45 minutes before bumping the temp to 350ºF until the IT of the legs reached 180ºF.  Smoking/cooking time was just a tad over 1½ hours.  Rested under a foil tent for 15 minutes ... Had me some happy campers  ;D  ;D

The Johnsonville Brats took an hour and 20 minutes to reach the desired IT of 170ºF (45 minutes of smoke and 35 minutes at 350ºF)
