Title: Question for 1/2 basket

For the people that fill half the basket ( to one side ). Do you hang your meat over the coals or the non coal side ? I did half chickens over the non coal side and I loved the outcome. Beef or pork I’ll do over the coal side. More smoke output over the coals and less not over the coals. I think I may have answered my own question. Just wondering if others have tried it

I do that with my Weber kettle..I alos have a ring that I love for wangs..fill chimney with charcoal and place wangs around it..that is great, someone just did that in here..pizza I do charcoal in the center...ribs I put charcoal on both sides and ris in the cneter.    .☆´¯`•.¸¸. ི♥ྀ.
