First Ribs and 10th chicken
« Reply #-1 on: February 13, 2013, 01:54:13 AM »
Since getting the PBC all I've done is chicken.  Which I like but the Hubby doesn't.  Picked up a package of spares on sale to cook for him, and of course I had to have (more) chicken.  Son was in from CA for a vist.  He'll eat anything!  I'm not the best at documenting all I do so please forgive me.

Trimmed up the spares some and seasoned with PBC All purpose seasoning.

Started them first.

Cut a whole chicken in half and seasoned with Cowtown Sweet Spot (thanks NEPA)

2hrs into the Rib cooking I added the Chicken

Chicken done at about 1hr20min

Ribs taken out also and sauced with a family sauce and put back in for 10 minutes, they were done in 3 1/2hrs!

Close up of rib.

Sorry no money shot.   :(

If I was your son and you were cooking like that, I'd have to move back home.....like Sparky's son did.

Lookin' good  ;D

I've done the chicken/ribs combo in the PBC twice now.  It is becoming one of my favorite cooks and it is mighty easy.

What beautiful color on both. We're they juicy? What is this Cowtown Sweet Spot? My family likes sweet rubs.
