I'm Phil. I'm grateful to join this community. I discovered I loved BBQ, specifically smoked Brisket and ribs about 5-7 years ago.
My first foray into smoking myself was with a Pit Boss 456D Lowe's special. It worked great when it worked but after one too many flameouts and waking up to cold brisket and a pile of pellets in the pot, I decided to try another way.
I picked up a PBC a few weeks ago early for my birthday. Just turned 41. I've been researching PBC cooks online and found some great info and threads on this forum so I've decided to join. Not sure how often I'll be posting but either way, I wanted to say thank you all for your great information, suggestions, directions, and experience.
Had definitely helped me already.
