Yesterday, Cletus was talking about getting an email from his son, J.O., who's in the navy. J.O. told him they had been in the Persian Gulf for the last 90 days straight and he complained to his Chief Petty Officer:
"Chief, I joined the navy to see the world, but for the last three months all I've seen is this cotton pickin' water."
The old Chief looked at him and said, "Look here country boy, three quarters of the earth is covered with water, and the Navy has been showing you that. Now, if you had wanted to see the other quarter, you should have joined the damn Army!"
