Title: New low carb breads, bagels and more
Post by: TMB on September 24, 2017, 05:11:44 PM
http://www.shop.greatlowcarb.com/main.sc.

Found this site for low carb breads, bagels and mixes.   We had their everything bagels for dinner last night and they are so good hard to tell they are low carb.

Tonight we are having hamburgers with low carb buns can't wait

I'll post how the burger buns tasted

I hope to sign them up for a sponsor here.  So far what I have seen they seem to be a really good company to deal with.

The buns are like soft pretzels/bagles hard to say other than that. But at 2 net carbs for a bun who cares

Really good and will be buying a lot more of their products

OBTW, the katchup was very good Kimmie loved it

Here is breakfast.    Grilled sausage patties, egg and cheese total 3 net carbs (and a full tummy)!!

The bagles abd burger buns are close in texture but for a person who LOVES bread it's worth the $$ and what few carbs are there

6 pack of bagles  $7.99
6 pack buns        $7.99    then shipping

I've read good things about their products in other forums as well.  I wanted to try some, but to ship it in a refrigerated box on dry ice was a little pricey, so I started looking for a local store that carried their products.  No luck so far.....

I really want to try their bagels.  I miss those on the low carb diet.

I ordered Thursday and they were on my door step Saturday .  I took them out inspected them and they went straight to the freezer.   Just take out what we will eat for that day (takes about an hour to thaw) and thay have been perfect!

I'm trying to get the info so I can try to get them as a sponsor and hope to get a better $$$ at the same time

I see all sorts of low carb bun recipes online. I'm going to try this one to see what the taste is like.

Tommy:  I too am on a low carb diet and have lost 35 lbs so far without really trying.  I appreciate your info on new recipes and products as you know, I miss the carbs.  Just curious on how many carbs per day are you limiting yourself?  I even cheat once in a while with pasta, bread, and ice cream.

I try to stay at 30 carbs per day if possible but no way over 40 carbs per day

Tommy,

Did you buy them direct from the company or from a distributor like Netrition?

Direct from the site.  Signed up then bought what I thought was good and so far everything has been very good.  Will reorder after we get back from the Kentucky BBQ

Cool ! ! !   I would think the shipping time to GA is about the same as AL so I may have to give them an order soon.  Just have to time it so the order gets here before the weekend and does not sit on a truck those extra days.

I will re-order on  Mon or Tues to see how shipping goes.   Now, shipping was a tad pricey at 12.59 BUT to eat a bun or bagle again and can freeze fopr a long time worth it

Thanks Tommy got to try them. Here is one I found at Amazon for square breads.

https://www.amazon.com/Value-Pack-Josephs-Lavash-Reduced/dp/B01D6QVUA8/ref=sr_1_1_a_it/134-0633596-5718811?ie=UTF8&qid=1506557842&sr=8-1&keywords=joseph%27s+lavash+bread

Large but you cut them in half plus they don't have to be frozen. I will let you know how they taste for sandwiches.

Could cost on them plus Walmart has them.
