Spicy Asian Beef Noodles
« Reply #-1 on: June 08, 2014, 06:44:54 PM »
So after spending all day yesterday setting up my trailer in the new park I am a bit hungover. According to my wife it should not take 8 hours and 12 tall cans to complete such a job.. Jeeze honey what do you know about such a task. I needed a good dinner and made this off the top of my head.. It's a keeper so I'm gonna share it with you all. Picked up a really cheap marinating steak.. I think it was an outside round, sliced it up against the grain and marinated it in
2 parts soy sauce
1 part Hoi Sin sauce
A big spoonful of minced garlic
A little squirt of rice wine vinegar
A gulg of peanut oil
And a really big squirt of Siracha
I also smoked some sesame seeds while I was cooking

Make a separate smaller batch of the main ingredients for later to cook with the noodles

Beef marinating for a couple hours ( next time I will do it overnight )

Low and slow.. Smoke setting on the Mak for an hour and bumped to 225 for the next hour.

Pre make some rice noodles, I sweated down some Bok Choy and green onions

Throw in the rice noodles and a few spoonfuls of the second batch of sauce..

Toss it all together and serve with the smoked sesame seeds

This my friends is a keeper..
