My Anova is in the house, but my Food Saver needs a new black thing that holds the pressure on the bags. It came apart..can you get replacements for these? Or do I have to buy another Food Saver..I hope not. Does anyone know? Thanks. Pam .☆´¯`•.¸¸. ི♥ྀ.

Until you get your Food Saver back in operation you could use ZipLock bags. Place the meat in one, dip it in the water until the water is near the top then zip it up.

Try and get ALL of the air out possible - otherwise you will have a "floater". Hard to get really even temps in the bag if you can't get the bag to submerge.

That is such a great tip for storing anything when you want to get rid of the air in a ziplock bag. Thanks LVC!!!
