There are some CRAZY sounding beers on this list...

I've used a few of their beers when doing a big chuck roast or brisket on the smoker..
They are a bit strong to just chug out of the bottle.

Ic an see that some of those flavors would make a great marinade base...or even added to a chuck roast for broth....hmmmm....

My daughter recently moved out to the Portland area. She sent me a couple of Rogue t-shirts the other day.

Ken - you have the most "food - connected" kids! SO - you ARE gonna mate the Fall Gathering...right? We can always find a place to go and have an adult beverage or 6....and watch the game.

I didn't know that was one of the activities... sounds interesting.

The maple bacon beer is terrible.
-
I have a bottle in the fridge...but I have not had the nerve to open it. So - you think it has possibilities for use as part of a marinade, or an additive to a stew, or chili?
-
It pretty much just tastes like maple syrup.
