I cooked a deer roast and had left overs that I had sliced for sandwiches. Then having some mushrooms that needed to be eaten I decided to stuff the with the venison .
Really turned out great and would work with steak just as well.
I cut up the sliced deer into small pieces.
Used a little mushroom base and bold beef stock, mixed in Parmesan and Provolone cheese. packed it into basically balls and stuffed into the caps. Grilled until done.
Turned out really nice.
