That seems like way too much work when I can through it in the Sous Vide Demi and then seared it on the grill. Don't
think I would like it deep fried. That is my opinion only. ;)

I think I need to try this sometime (when no one is home so they don't think I am nuts.)
It's o.k. Gus....even with your house empty...we will still be here to support that theory ... :D :D :D

Interesting....but quite a process!
Many years ago I attended a party at a ranch outside of Livingston, Montana. This was a working cattle ranch so the main course was steak. But was unlike any I'd ever had. It was deep fried in beef tallow. It was fabulous! Extreme beef flavor. I've never seen or heard steak being cooked this way since, til now.

That looks like a shallow fry to me.
I love Sous Vide deep fried burgers BUT only if I already had hot oil going. Like if I was making fries to go with the burgers.

I agree that SV and sear in oil would be better.

It DOES seem like a lot of work - but I am wondering what layers of flavor are being created. Might just have to try it (when SWBO is not around) just to see... Bookmarked, thanks!

To much work I'd say, but Kimmie's would be nice and crispy!! :D :D :D :D :D :D

One thing lacking that I don't understand is why was it not wrapped in bacon for the second fry? Dee

I agree Art give this a try for us!! I like fried steak fingers, sliced sirloin or round coated with flour and seasoning then fried in some oil but I never used that much oil. If it looks good I am open to trying anything! Don

I would be more than glad to sit down and try it after all the hard work is done.

Seems to be a lot of work for a steak but I'm sure it's tasty.
