I had some of my cornbread cakes left from yesterday. That called for a run to my butcher and get some of his jowl bacon for my brunch today. I sliced and fried some of it, fried the eggs in the grease and heated the cornbread cakes topped with a little butter and maple syrup. I had a big glass of buttermilk to top it off! Delicious but wished I had fried up more of the bacon.
