The other day scouring the net for new ideas and recipes I ran across Mississippi Sauce. The first recipe was pretty basic with just Mayonnaise, chili sauce and some seasoning. I thought if anyone would know Mississippi Sauce it would be my friend Mary at deepsouthdish.com, she is from Mississippi.
She calls it Mississippi Comeback Sauce, if you try it you will come back for more! I made a batch with her recipe; it makes a pint. It tasted great! I had some strips of old fashioned bologna I dipped in it and it is delicious. Like she said it is good as a condiment or a dipping sauce.
With summer coming on I can see a lot of uses for it! In MHO it is the best sauce I have tried in a while.

Being from Jackson Ms. I've eaten comeback sauce for decades.
It's great pored on crackers or toasted bread chips.

I have had what they call comeback sauce a few times. I will try this recipe for sure.
