I am not a big dessert person so my baking skills are a little lacking. I do like peanut butter pie so when I saw this recipe I said that’s one for me to do!
My wife eats a lot of peanut butter and likes Jiffy. We saw where it was not that great for you and Smucker’s All Natural was the best for you so I bought a 24 oz. jar of it. It comes separated with about an inch of oil on top. It’s a pain to get mixed up and wears your arm out.
I saw this recipe and told the wife I would use most of it up and make this pie. I bought an oreo cookie crust to use. I mixed up the peanut butter, cream cheese and honey. I only used a half cup of the honey instead of 3/4 cups.
I topped it with cool whip and nuked the chocolate chips to pour on. I could not get them pourable, I forgot the shortening. If I make again will just use chocolate syrup. I used a spoon and knife to get the chocolate on.
This pie is very rich; it was almost too rich for my wife and she loves desserts.

* 1 jar Smucker's natural peanut butter (16 ounce.)
* 1 ct frzn whipped topping (8 ounce.) thawed

Note: I forgot to add the shortening to the chocolate chips so I could not pour it. I would just use some Hershey’s syrup the next time.

So Don, I was looking at your map location. It seems you live in the middle of a field... But I did see a barn close by. Maybe I could move up and live in the barn. You know so I could come over and help eat up some of the food you cook.... ;) :)

Oh ya. That would be real good with a big, big glass of milk.

Don if I was a blind guy with a bad sniffer, I would gladly eat whatever you put in front of me and enjoy it immensely, but this is the exception. I love chocolate, and I love peanut butter. But put them together and I want no part of it! It looks great and I'm sure it is! I must have something similar to what Pappy and Muebe have with PEAS. ???
In a conciliatory sort of way, Mrs Hikerman would love a slice! :D
