Mrs H does a thing when we camp. The brie is wrapped in phylo dough, foiled, but before sealing the top, holes are poked in the brie and bourbon, honey and nuts are put on top. Phylo sealed then the foil. This is placed at the edge of fire for a bit and turned to even the heat. After twenty minutes scoop out with crackers. A little civilization in the woods!
Tommy - that looks and sounds GREAT! But, why didn't you try the one with cherries???
Gene - Can you please give us a recipe for the one you described as well? Sounds great also!
