The local Kroger had a sale on beef tenderloin for $8.99 lb (normally $15.99) so I bought 4 of them. Threw 3 in the freezer and the fourth I decide to sous vide.
Trimmed the silver skin, added some salt and pepper.

Seared a bit before sealing it with some rosemary and thyme.

Into the water at 133* for about 2.5 hours.

Removed it, seared and sliced.

I made some peppercorn/brandy sauce that turned out pretty good (but I forgot to take a picture with it.
