This recipe (https://anovaculinary.com/easy-homemade-sous-vide-egg-bites/?utm_source=01.+Primary+Marketing+List&utm_campaign=89c7b55802-Egg_Bites_Email&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_f33347b916-89c7b55802-99974089&ct=t(Egg_Bites_Email)&goal=0_f33347b916-89c7b55802-99974089&mc_cid=89c7b55802&mc_eid=d5646674d0) is by Nicole Poirier, from Anova Culinary, as a copycat Starbucks egg bites recipe. I followed the recipe as written.
I didn’t have 4 ounce jars so I used my 6 ounce ones. Here they are filled with the mixture and waiting for the Anova to come up
to 172 degree.

Egg bites in the Anova for 60 minutes.

Out of the hot tub after 1 hour at 172 degrees.

You can either eat them in the jar or use a butter knife or small spatula to remove them.

My test plate. Looking at the photo it appears that they may be a bit over cooked and dry. This was not the case. They were
definitely not dry and were very flavorful. I do believe that if my wife had not been at home I would have eaten all 6 of them. 8)

I will be making this one again and trying different types of fillings. Something like an omelet in a jar. There are numerous
variations on the Anova Culinary website.

Very neat! I gotta try this! Thanks Mike!
Oh I would have eaten five of them before guilt overcame me! But then I'd still nail that last one! :D
The things we do to keep our people safe! :D :D :D

I can't copy and paste it from the website and there is no option to save the recipe. You can double click on the recipe and it will open in a new window and then you can print it or save the image to print later.

For the picture they were above the water. I put a smaller bowl on top of the 6 jars to keep them submerged. If you check out the recipe on the website, scroll all the way down to the bottom and read the comments. I picked up a lot of useful information from just reading what other people have done and the answers to their various questions.
