Title: 3 Eyz Tri-tip and a Tatonka Dust Tri-tip

Had a couple of tri-tips to do and looking for a little variation applied different seasonings, 3 Eyz and then also Tatonka Dust to the tri-tips and fridged them individually wrapped over night.

Gave the tri-tips some oak/charcoal smoke for 2 hours with the grill running at 150º.

Turned up the grill to 250º and added a potato/veggie mix with fresh minced garlic.

Towards the end of the cook added some garlic toast.

Tri-tips were cooked to 140º and foiled for a half hour rest before slicing.

Here is the tri-tip seasoned with 3 Eyz.

The 3Eyz was very good on this cut on this cut of meat, but we did prefer the Tatonka Dust... trying not to be biased, just honest...  ;D

I was fortunate to get a small sampling a while ago and have been chomping at the bit to get my hands on the Tatonka Dust.

Please keep old smoke in mind when it is ready......and that tri-tip looked perfect and I am not surprised one bit that the T-Dust was the better of the rubs.......

i already placed my order for their special of 1 shaker, 1 pound and 2 kookies.  i was told it will ship monday.  tatonka dust is just a great rub that i got from owensbbq.com if you want some.  its good stuff.

Ahhh so tatonka dust finally made it to market! Sweet!
This may be over due but CONGRATS guys! I truly believe you have an awesome product! I'll be ordering some very soon!
