Title: Shaunee's Chicken marinade
Post by: Keymaster on September 05, 2013, 08:57:54 PM
Shaunee's Chicken marinade

The zest of two lemons and the juice of a lemon and a half
1/4 Cup of soy sauce
1/4 Cup of Canola oil (we were out of olive oil)
1/2 tsp. of red pepper flakes
two sprigs of fresh rosemary
Two medium size cloves of garlic
1tsp of Johnny's seasoning (Lawry's will work)
1/2 tsp. of old bay
1 tsp. of ground black pepper

Put the garlic cloves and rosemary in a mini food processor and chop until fine. Mix with all other ingredients in a casserole dish and marinate chicken for two to twelve hours turning frequently. Grill chicken parts direct at 325° F for about 45 minutes and make sure the internal temp is at least 165° F.

Note: I cooked the chicken on a ceramic grill so adjust to your type of smoker/grill.
